Keyboard Pcb Schematic. A large part of this circuitry makes up the key matrix. It only says that the keyboard is guaranteed to always be able to support x keys at the same time.
For the kicad footprints schematic libraries used please go to my kicad library repo. It has its own processor and circuitry that carries information to and from that processor. This does not however limit the number of pressed keys at the same time in all cases.

You also no longer have to really consider the pcb design aspects anymore since all of it will have been done for you on the pro micro or teensy so you can just autoroute everything. Depending on the matrix layout and controller used 2 keyboards with 2kro may behave very differently. It only says that the keyboard is guaranteed to always be able to support x keys at the same time.
