Electronic Dice Circuit With 7 Segment Display. Since the 7 segment display used in this project is of type common anode one the common pin is connected to pin 9 of arduino and is always made high. Thus if theclock stops at seventh count the display will read zero.
Here we have used a timer ne555 as an astable oscillator with a frequency of about 100 hz. Here the segment a is connected to pin 7 of arduino. And common anode pin of seven segment is connected with 5 volt 220 ohm resistor.
And common anode pin of seven segment is connected with 5 volt 220 ohm resistor.
To drive a 7 segment led display in a common anode. Insert the 470 ohm resistors. It results in a 7 segment led display is a number 0 to 9. Wire the resistors to the 7 segment display.
